Osborne, a three-star recruit according to 247 Sports' composite rankings, has 13 scholarship offers, including from powers like Oklahoma, Texas A&M and TCU. He was a first-team all-district selection for Marcus last season.
Osborne is the first area player to transfer to IMG this season. Last January, Noah Cain, the No. 2 running back in the country, transferred from Denton Guyer to IMG. Other top Texas players have transferred to IMG as well in recent years.
In 2016, Glen West, then the president of the Texas High School Coaches Association, penned a letter saying IMG could, "destroy our profession."
Texas coaches have lobbied others not to schedule IMG. The Florida school hasn't played one from Texas since it faced DeSoto in 2015.
But it's found competition elsewhere and obviously is still a draw for some players.
